Fort Taylor

Today we started two new projects in the house for Weston's room/playroom. We went to get the materials to get the project going and did a little work on it but tomorrow we will go full speed ahead into it. One project is to get wood and cut them to look like a fence, then I am going to paint them and wrap them on two walls to make the room have a backyard feel to it. The second project is to build a fort in the room for the boys to play in. Its going to be 4 feet by 4 feet, 1.5 feet off the ground and stand about 6 feet high. The fort will have 2 windows and 1 door. Brandon and I were excited to get this project going.

We went to Home Depot to get the wood and other materials to build the fort. I had gotten the wood for the fence earlier in the week and Brandon and Mike helped me cut them to be .25 inch thick.

Hunter really enjoyed this trip to Home Depot maybe he knew it was to make these boys fun stuff. We let him ride on the cart you load wood on and also let him push it. By the time we left Home Depot Hunter had passed on in the cart in the store.

I guess it was hard work pushing those big carts for him.

  1. oh my goodness, I love this last picture of Hunter all passed out and cozy. Too freakin' cute!!

  2. Good to know Hunter helping wares him out. I'll need to remember that!
